Information literacy is a set of abilities enabling individuals to recognize when information is needed, and be able to locate, evaluate, and use effectively the needed information. SEKU library provides information literacy (IL) training that empowers students, faculty, and staff with the information literacy skills needed to be self-sufficient in finding, selecting, evaluating and using information. The training covers the following:

Training Session Guides

According to SEKU Anti-plagiarism Policy, all research proposals, projects, thesis, dissertations among other research works should be subjected to anti-plagiarism  check before being accepted as an authentic production by the students.
To facilitate this, kindly email your research work to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for scanning, and generation of plagiarism reports. Accepted document format is Ms Word, and should be renamed in the following format; Surname_Title.

The subject of the email should be your full name, and admission number.

After scanning your document, the library will as soon as possible email you the plagiarism report as a reply to your email.
