Vision
To be the heart of the university academic and research culture in the provision, dissemination and preservation of knowledge and substantially contributes to the dynamic intellectual growth of the scholarly community at large.
Mission
To be the centre of excellence in the provision and exploitation of information resources and services to empower the university in carrying out its core activities of teaching, learning, research, extension, innovation and entrepreneurship for sustainable regional and national development.
Quality Objectives
- To increase acquisition of print books by 1000 volumes every financial year.
- To increase acquisition of electronic resources by one database every year
- To increase the archived publications in the digital repository by at least 20 items every quarter.
- To conduct at least 4 information literacy training every semester.
- To repair at least 200 copies of books yearly.

SEKU Library adheres to the policy below in order to provide equal access to information resources and to ensure high quality service provision to its users.
Library rules & regulations
The rules and regulations are designed to ensure that provision of library resources, services and facilities is made as effectively and fairly. The regulations cover the conditions for admission, discipline in the use of materials and facilities, registration, borrowing rights, penalties and fines, clearance and copyright.
